Ogbonnaya ‘FD’ Kanu is an avid motorcycle adventure rider, chemical engineer, mechanical geek, and self-professed ‘Too Doer’.
His penchant for attempting the extraordinary has seen Kanu become one of Nigeria’s foremost adventure riders, with exceptional feats in the world of motorcycling.
He is the first and only Nigerian to have ridden to Europe and back on a motorcycle. Details of his Lagos to Europe Tour form the first edition in the FD Breaking Limits series.
He is the only Nigerian member of the Iron Butt Association, also known as the World’s Toughest Riders; and is also the only Nigerian recipient of the Triple Crown Award, organized by the Southern California Motorcycling Association.
His passion for motorcycling also extends to advocating for safe motorcycling practices, and as such he is a founding partner of the Ride Easy Superbike Training School in Lagos, Nigeria. He is also the highest certified motorcycling instructor in Nigeria.
FD lives in Lagos, Nigeria with his wife and two daughters.
